30 Consecutive Days of Blogging (III): Saturday's Make Up

from "Children, 1801":
**************************************************************************************

Father & mother want his cork & feathers. A pantomime blackened their eyebrows & cried upstairs. The shuttlecock burnt the end of a candle & found nature upon the table. I am glad to find battledores & shuttlecocks. You, cork & feathers, are amusements. In your garden, there was a garden in another garden. Nothing kept that garden higher than in his head. His head had been broken, & broken, it said: I have broken this garden. Do not hurt yourself. Again & again, hurt me.
