Mid-50s w/100% Chance of Rain

Today's forecast in the corn-hole calls for temperatures in the mid-50s, over-cast w/ intermittent showers throughout the course of the day. As such, I broke out the autumn sweater for the first time this season, which also means that I had to throw in Yo La Tengo's I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One. I still consider this to be one the top LPs recorded since the mid-90s; not to mention that ICHtHBAO soundtracks an autumn day perfectly (especially the down-temo tunes). While nearly every track is amazing, standouts include: "Sugarcube," "Damage," "Deeper into Movies," "Stockholm Syndrome," and "Autumn Sweater."

On a related note, the following three LPs are must buys. Click on images for reviews of each, respectively:

Warchevski gifted me the Yo La Tengo for my birthday four years ago. It still plays to this day! You heard, Rick Rude?

I bought the RATATAT on vinyl this week. It kills! Although, the sucky thing is that when you remove the packing wrap, the wicked-sweet band logo/sticker comes off. Did I mention that the album kills? 'Natch.
