"Small Steps, Ellie. Small Steps"

Yesterday, I found used copies of the books listed below at A Novel Idea Bookstore. It was the owner's Annual 29th Birthday Sale, so I only had to shell out $9 total. What a deal. Then, I received an acceptance in the mail this morning from a pretty wicked journal. I didn't even realize people used snail-mail anymore to notify contributor's...so I assumed it was a rejection. Goodness. Now, if I can only figure out how to acquire the magic Skittles touch, I will be all set:
