The legal wrangling between Radiohead's suits & Amplive seems to have been settled, as the latter's remixes of the former's killer LP In Rainbows are now available as a free download. In what might be the most interesting twist to the whole affair, the remix album ends up being a better collection of songs than the original. This should be of little surprise, since (IMO) the B-Sides disc to In Rainbows works better as an EP than the LP does as a full-length (regardless of what Pitchfork writes). Of particular tastiness on the remix download: "Video Tapez," "Nudez," & "15 Stepz." The only clunker ends up being the opening intro track, which drips with cheese.
